How long does the volume last?
Most people get several hours of lift from a quick set — longer if you leave the clips in while you finish your makeup. Like any styling method, results vary with hair type, length, and humidity.
Will it work on my hair type?
The clips work on straight, wavy, curly, fine, thick, and color-treated hair. Very short hair (shorter than a few inches at the crown) may not have enough length for the clip to grip. Very heavy, long hair gets lift at the roots — the clips won't add length, just volume.
Will it damage or snag my hair?
The clips are heat-free — no hot tools involved. The sliding clamp is designed to open and release, and the serrated teeth are made to grip hair rather than scalp. If you ever feel resistance, open the clamp fully before sliding the clip out instead of pulling. There is no backcombing or teasing involved, so no deliberate breakage of strands.
How is this different from the cheap clips on Amazon?
